Cosphaderm® EGCg ECONAT

Cosphaderm EGCg ECONAT is a natural multifunctional antioxidant white powder extract from high quality green tea leaves of Camellia sinensis. The predominant active ingredient at more than 90% is epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCg), a powerful antioxidant. EGCg is the most effective among the tea catechins displaying high levels of radical scavenging activity and thereby protecting the skin against reactive oxygen species.
Research indicates that EGCg displays even further beneficial effects including antimicrobial activity, reduction of skin damage from UV light and prevention of collagen breakdown by inhibiting collagenase, the enzyme responsible for collagen breakdown.
