UTMF Ceramide III

Based on Ultra-Thin Molecular Films (UTMF), UMTF Ceramide III reinforces the lipid barrier of the skin and repairs and protects hair fibers by encapsulating Ceramide III, a long-chain or sphingoid base linked to a fatty acid, stearic acid. Of natural origin, ceramide III reinforces the natural lipidic barrier in dried and aged skin, provides immediate and long-lasting hydration effect on skin. Additionally, UMTF Ceramide III repairs and protects damaged hair form external insults such as UV and mechanical damages associated with everyday grooming.

The particular rheology of UTMF permits the extension of monolayers of functional ingredients on the skin that spread very well on the epidermis allowing cutaneous occlusivity and absorption of the active ingredients.

• Molecular film containing sandwiches of Ceramide III
• Improves barrier function and reduces TEWL by occlusion
• Improves hydration and repairs and protects damaged hair
